Emily Dunn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Baylor University and her Master of Science in Social Administration at Case Western Reserve University.
For three years, Emily was working in an inpatient facility in Cleveland, Ohio, where she was providing therapy and counseling for children and teenagers aged 11 to 18, both as a group and individually. After that, she returned to Texas and worked with families with children up to 3 years old in creating and enhancing secure parent-child bonding. Besides, she was also a psychotherapist in a Dallas children’s hospital, where she evaluated and treated kids aged 10 to 18 who were having suicidal thoughts and other mental health problems.
The clinical training of Emily included the treatment of patients who suffered from anxiety, depression, PTSD, suicidal thoughts, anger, and other mood disorders. She also dealt with trauma and communication issues that affected the family. She conducts therapy for all ages, and her main areas of expertise are child and adolescent mental health, parent coaching, and life transitions. The Sheldon and Rush coaching model (joint planning, observation, action/practice, reflection, and feedback) is the basic principle of Emily’s interactions with her clients. In this way, the therapy sessions are client-led. Emily has received training in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), AS+K (Ask About Suicide to Save a Life), CALM (Counseling on Access to Lethal Means), SafeCare, and elements of DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy).
Emily sees it as an honor and a privilege to serve in the therapy profession. While forming a therapeutic alliance is an act of vulnerability and confidence that Emily considers at all times, the latter two are just the qualities she really does not want to mix. Anyone, regardless of their age, background, gender identity, or sexual orientation, is welcome. Emily makes every effort to establish a secure atmosphere for her clients and to allow them to feel whatever they need to feel and to be who they are.
Emily shares her home in the Mid-Cities with her husband, son, and two dogs. She likes to travel, walk, take care of her houseplants, read, and be with her family.
Emily is in-network with Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, United Healthcare, UMR, Magellan, Tricare/Triwest, Beacon/Carelon, Multiplan, ComPsych, and Baylor, Scott & White/Firstcare. She also provides a self-pay rate for those who do not have insurance or who have limited insurance coverage.

Misty is the therapist who assists the clients not only to rebuild their relationships but also to strengthen and practice the essential skills for everyone in relationships with self, thus coexisting with the rest in an authentic manner. The human experience gets its myriad aspects through the Self.
It often happens that marriages get into a conflict, playing the role of being reactive, detached, anxious, and preoccupied. And thus, closure to the issue, or a feeling of relief, does not last. These stances are part of a rule book we make and follow unconsciously. Misty, along with couples therapy and coaching, leads couples with different backgrounds and levels of complexity to discover new possibilities in their relationship.
On top of that, she is an expert in marriage and family therapy and child development. Misty, as a leading therapist, ran the family therapy program for a teen girl’s residential treatment center and a partial hospitalization program of an adoption agency. Throughout her career, Misty has worked closely with law enforcement units to provide crisis intervention and stabilize girls who have been rescued from human trafficking through a process of transitioning from a dysregulated state. All of these training seasons have progressively led Misty to create the Art of Relational Rhythm for couples, families, and one’s relationship with self.
Misty has had a tight focus on attachment, trauma, and resiliency throughout the years, which has been her main theme for the last few decades. Her clinical experience encompasses individuals, couples, and families by applying addiction and trauma resiliency and recovery skills. Besides being a family educator and coach for addiction and mental health, she also provides premarital education and marriage enrichment courses and educates clients on the issues of reactive attachment styles, somatic experiencing, and therapeutic art skills.
Misty is a PAM facilitator and SYMBIS personality, a somatic practitioner, and a marriage assessment provider. She also holds a certificate in art therapy practice and is enrolled in trauma stress studies certification.
Misty and her husband of 20 years, together with their adult son and two kids, travel around to see more of Texas. Misty has the strengths of strategy, responsibility, communication, relator, and woo. She brings these strengths not only to her practice but also to her daily life.

Savilla Lacy is a Licensed Professional Counselor who acquired her Master’s of Marriage and Family Therapy from The King’s University in Southlake, Texas. She has a focus on trauma and is planning to become EMDR certified soon. Savilla has gained her clinical experience through working with trauma, anxiety, depression, dissociation, and aggression with adolescents and teens. In her counseling work with disadvantaged youth and families in both Dallas and Plano, she was instrumental in connecting them to the right local resources and also helping them to heal from their past and overcome the obstacles that hindered their personal development.
Savilla thinks that therapy is a partnership and the clients are on the same level as the counselor. She sees her role as a counselor to first understand the client’s perspective and then the counselor’s. As humans, we appreciate and require a genuine relationship to heal and grow. Thus, helping another be seen and understood is for her the greatest honor. The most profound transformations that take place in a person usually result from the silent times of self-examination.
Savilla and her husband, along with their daughter, reside in the Mid-Cities. She loves work, has a good time playing games with her friends and family, and goes as far as saying that she is a “coffee snob”—that she knows a lot about the quality of coffee.
Savilla is credentialed with Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, United Healthcare, UMR, Magellan, Tricare/Triwest, Beacon/Carelon, Multiplan, and ComPsych insurance companies. Credentialing for Baylor Scott & White/FirstCare is in process. In addition, the therapist provides a self-pay rate for uninsured and underinsured clients.
Savilla has face-to-face as well as telehealth sessions available and is ready to accept new patients.
